Foreword
Dear WORTMANN AG partners,
First I would like to thank you for your commitment and great cooperation,
which allowed WORTMANN AG to have a successful 2017.
The past year has not been easy within the IT sector and this makes good
cooperation even more valuable. With the TERRA brand, we will continue
to place our faith in channel distribution and will support you by being fair
partners. This works very well but also poses a few challenges:
The IT market is currently undergoing significant change. Good products
and prices are a given and the decision to buy, more often than not, is
based on other criteria. However, a clear business objective and
competitive products still allow for great turnover.
The trend is definitely moving away from hardware
advice, and towards customer-focused solutions. We face
the challenge of offering products and partnerships that
enable you to successfully sell these customer solutions.
It is not always easy to depart familiar paths - we feel
this in our own company. Cloud, Service and licensing
business experience growth and will be further expan-
ded. Many additional workplaces were created within
WORTMANN AG in these areas. At the same time the
traditional hardware business must not be neglected.
The areas of advice and training will be further intensified.
We will continue to focus particularly on the dialogue with
our partners and we would be happy to invite you for a
personal conversation.
