Ecology
It is an objective of WORTMANN
AG to offer its products and
services in excellent quality and
at a great price, but also in the
most environmentally friendly way possible. Hence,
we place value on treating our resources in the most
sustainable way. We source from suppliers who are
committed to complying with EU guidance on
marketing, taking back and environmentally friendly
disposal of electric and electronic devices (WEEE) as
well as the EU directive on use of harmful substances
(RoHs). With our TERRA systems we contribute to
save energy and, thus, to reduce emissions. Products
from GREENLINE range are in line with EU Energy
Star and, by comparison, use up to 35% less energy.
Products from the GREENLINE Plus range even lead
to saving up to 50%.
For WORTMANN AG the path to a successful future for all
generations can only be based on long-term sustainable
planning and actions. Thus, ecology and socially responsible
behaviour form part of the business philosophy.
SOCIAL COMMITMENT
WORTMANN AG views itself as part of society
and, thus, wants to contribute by supporting social
projects, foundations and societies. We regularly
make donations to charities such as the Heart and
Diabetes Centre NRW in Bad Oeynhausen, Aktion
Lichtblicke by Radio station Radio Westfalica or the
Andreas Gärtner Foundation.
And we also support regional sports clubs such as
the TuS Tengern eV., as part of WORTMANN AG´s
social commitment.

Our HQ operations are installed with Solar
panels and produce more energy than we require.
